Silent Auction of Collectables - November 28 through December 2

Friends of Venice Library Silent Auction

Friends of Venice Library is hosting a Silent Auction starting Monday, November 28, and running through Friday, December 2, in the Friends of Venice Library Bookstore.

Don Weiss, a Friends Bookstore collectables specialist, says about the Silent Auction book selection, “Our first pre-holiday silent auction includes 15 of our best, recently donated collectables, with two of local interest as well as a nice assortment of something for everyone.”

To place a bid in the Silent Auction, stop by the Friends Bookstore to look at the items displayed on the table as you walk into the bookstore, and then mark your bid in the corresponding Silent Auction bidding sheets. All bids must be on the appropriate bidding sheet by 4 p.m. on December 2. Winning bidders will be notified by phone or email in a timely manner. All items need to be paid for and picked up from the Friends Bookstore’s main desk by December 16.

Show your support for the William H. Jervey Venice Library and the Friends of the Library by bidding on some special, donated collectables. Support from the Friends of the Library helps make the Jervey Venice Public Library’s current and future programming possible. Visit venicefriends.org or call at 941.861.1351 for more information.
