Please stop by to bid on one or more of the following:

Friends of Venice Library Silent Auction

Friends of Venice Library is hosting our third annual Silent Auction starting Saturday, December 7 and running through Friday, December 13, in the Friends of Venice Library Bookstore.

Don Weiss, a Friends Bookstore collectables specialist, says about this year’s selection, “Our third pre-holiday silent auction includes items that have separated themselves from the rest over the past year.”

Don Weiss’s Personal Favorites

. 1 is a subtle reminder of how things were 100 years ago.

. 2 and 5. Placing these two books on a small table could make a calming nook.

. 3 is my favorite of the group.

. 4 is a beautifully illustrated book especially for our Hobbit fans.

. 6 is for all our Mecedes fans, especially those who value the Marque.

. 7 and 8 offer ornithology fans a chance to see some of our beautiful bird friends.

. 9 makes me smile each time I look through it.
