Join the Friends of the Venice Library (FOVL) at the William H. Jervey, Jr. Public Library, 300 Nokomis Avenue, Venice, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 3 for their Fill-a-Bag for $5 Book Sale.

The Friends welcome all booklovers and bargain hunters to fill a bag of your favorites gently used books and media, from hardcovers and paperbacks to coffee-table books and teen books. Shoppers will also find a wide selection of contemporary to classical CDs and audio books. The bookstore will supply the bags for shoppers.

The Friends of the Venice Library appreciate books and media Venice residents generously donate to help us fill the bookstore shelves, which, in turn, help the Jervey Public Library fund needed programs, books and events.

Stop by to take home a bag full of hard-cover mysteries by your favorite author or beautifully illustrated art books or guides to your next travel destination.
